Thomas Rhett wrote his latest single about his wife Lauren Akins shortly after they were married. That makes it appropriate that she appears in the music video.

“Star Of The Show” has quickly risen to the top 15 on the country singles charts. In fact, it is the fastest rising song of Thomas Rhett’s career to date.

The music video starts out with the couple sitting on a couch before Lauren gets up and walks out of the camera shot. Thomas Rhett then walks through sets of places he feels like and sings about her taking the spotlight when they are together.

The love of his life comes back in the last shot of the music video for some fun!
