There is a new twist to the voting for the live show Monday on The Voice Season 11, the live performances will have live, real-time voting and results!
The hit NBC singing competition is on Mondays and Tuesdays. In the past the live performances happened on Monday with the results of the voting overnight revealed on Tuesday. However, Tuesday, November 8th is the Presidential Election night for America and that means the show needs to be only one night this time.
The show has devised the plan to not have to make fans wait a whole week to find out the results of the voting. The artists on each team will perform and the votes will be tallied and revealed all in the same night. That makes a much more intense situation for the artists and their fans.
By the end of Monday’s live episode of The Voice the top 20 will be cut down to the top 12 with two artists from each team being eliminated from the competition. You can watch the artists from The Voice season 11 explain the night’s real-time voting in the video above.
I can only imagine what kind of pressure coaches Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus and Adam Levine will be under for this first live show of The Voice Season 11 not to mention the artist on each of their teams!
If you have your favorites already you had better be ready to vote and rally as many helpers to vote with you.
