Blake Shelton wrapped his 2016 tour with RaeLynn last weekend and took the chance to give one young fan a major thrill on stage.
Blake ended his year on tour with a two-night stand at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. During that stay he brought out opening act (and former #TeamBlake member from The Voice) RaeLynn to perform his hit song “Boys ‘Round Here.”
Anybody that has followed Blake’s career even a little knows he has a soft heart for children. So, it was no surprise that when he saw a young fan decked out in a tied pink flannel shirt that he brought her on stage for a thrill of a lifetime.
The young girl was obviously in shock to be on stage with the two country singers as she clasped her hand in front of her face at first. When she lowered her hands it revealed a smile from ear-to-ear. When Blake gave her the guitar pick he was using she was visibly star struck at the gift.
Luckily for us and the young fan, another person captured the thrilling event on video and posted it on Instagram and shared it with us all to enjoy.
I would bet that little girl hasn’t lost the smile on her face since it all happened and has called everybody that her parents will allow her to tell the story!
Way to go Blake Shelton and RaeLynn on giving a young fan the thrill of a lifetime! Way to represent yourselves and country music very well!!
