The King of Country Music has teamed with Walmart to release his second box set. George Strait will release Straight Out Of The Box: Part 2 this November.

King George’s first box set Strait Out Of The Box was released in 1995 and has sold more than 70 million copies. That set featured his 60 number one singles of his career. That total number of chart toppers is more than any other artist in any genre in history.

Of course, when you have a career like George Strait there will be songs that are iconic that didn’t quite reach the top of the charts for one reason or another. That is likely where Strait Out Of The Box: Part 2 will help cover your King George collection of music.

We do not know the exact track listing for the upcoming release yet, but we can tell you that Strait Out Of The Box: Part 2 will be a 3-disc set that will feature 56 tracks. There will 36 hit songs (26 of those will be #1 singles), two brand new songs and 18 album cuts that were personally selected for the project by King George himself.

I have noticed that most outlets are implying that the first single from the project is a new song. However, the song from George Strait “Goin’ Goin’ Gone” can actually be found on the album Cold Beer Conversation and can be heard at the bottom of the page.

The box set will be released November 18th (just in time for holiday shopping) and will be sold exclusively at Walmart. You can pre-order George Strait’s Strait Out Of The Box: Part 2 box set here.

I know I personally can’t wait to find out what songs will be included in this new box set from George Strait. When that information is released, we will share it with you.
