Blake Shelton was able to almost double the size of Team Blake last night (9/27) as the Blind Auditions continued on The Voice season 11.
Blake along with Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys continued selecting artists they wanted on their teams based on listening to their Blind Auditions on the hit TV singing competition. For Blake, a few artists were gifted to him because no other coach pressed their button other than him.
One of those artists was the son of Grammy Award-winning guitarist Tommy Allsup. Austin Allsup is a native of Fort Worth, Texas and sang his version of the Rolling Stones classic song “Wild Horses.” Blake was the only coach to turn his chair so Austin became a member of #TeamBlake.
In one of the “montage audition videos” that I still am not a fan of, Christian Fermin from Anaheim, CA and Nashville native Preston James both found a home on #TeamBlake as Blake was the only coach to turn for them on The Voice.
Josh Gallagher is a native of Johnstown, PA although he now calls Nashville home. His parents have a connection to country music as they have worked in the industry in the publicity and management aspects of the business. Josh sang the Brothers Osborne hit song “Stay A Little Longer” and motivated both Blake and Alicia to press their buttons. The two coaches battled to convince Josh to choose them as his coach, but in the end it was a win for Blake Shelton and #TeamBlake.
You can see which artists are on the other three teams here.
The Blind Auditions will continue Monday, October 3rd at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) with The Voice Season 11 on NBC.
