Carrie Underwood Inspired New Keith Urban “Blue Ain’t Your Color” Music Video

Keith Urban just released the music video for his latest single “Blue Ain’t Your Color.” He says that the inspiration for the music video, “really came from when I did American Idol with Carrie Underwood, and because it was the finale, I played in a suit.”

How did that lead to what we see in the music video? “This whole idea kind of started from the idea of playing in a suit,” Keith explains, “From there, obviously, the story of the song is pretty strong, and we started building the concept from there. But, the initial spark of inspiration was really about that.”

You can go behind the scenes of the music video for “Blue Ain’t Your Color” with Keith Urban in the video just below. Keith talks about the filming, the concept and what is his favorite part of the music video.

The song is from Keith’s latest #1 album RipCORD that is available everywhere now. I will admit when the album was released and I listened to it for the first time, this is the song I backed up and listened to a few times in a row before letting the album play on.

Don’t forget that Keith Urban will bring his “RipCORD World Tour” with special guests Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris to theĀ Coliseum in Bloomington, IL Saturday, November 12, 2016. The show is SOLD OUT, but you can keep listening to WIN tickets with Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104!
