Kyle Busch announced his return to NASCAR Sprint Cup racing will happen in this week’s All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Kyle was forced to miss the first 11 races of the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup season after a crash at Daytona left him with a broken leg and foot.

The driver that has earned the nickname “Rowdy” announced on his Twitter account earlier today (5/12) that he will return to the track by first racing in the non-points All-Star Race Saturday night (5/16) by using the video posted below.

Since his absence was due to a wreck and medical leave from a NASCAR related race, Kyle will still be eligible to race for the championship this year if he gains enough points to make the Chase Grid or gets on based on winning a race or races during the regular season.
