Sara Evans and her siblings were on Celebrity Family Feud and dominated the competition to win money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Country stars seem to do very well on the celebrity version of the TV game show. The celebs play to raise money for their favorite charities instead of for themselves. In July of this year The Band Perry appeared on the show and also dominated the competition.
In July Kimberly Perry scored 196 points in the first half of the “Fast Money” final round of the competition. That left only four points for her brother Reid to score to hit the 200 total points to win the money for their charity. He got 43 points for his very first answer to win round.
This time it was Sara’s brother Jay going first in the “Fast Money” final round. Jay scored 190 points for his half of the round. When the show’s host Steve Harvey told Sara about the tally by her brother, she responded by saying, “That’s incredible, but can you imagine if I don’t get ten? Like, that is even more pressure.”
She may have felt that pressure when she passed on the first question after duplicating her brother’s answer. She settled in and gave responses for the remaining four questions. Obviously she got no points for the first question. Her second answer, however, scored 15 points and gave them the win to send $25,000 to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Congrats to Sara Evans and her siblings on a job well-done for a great cause on Celebrity Family Feud!
