Kenny Chesney wrapped his “Spread The Love Tour” in Boston with a two night stop at Gillette Stadium and a moment that will touch your heart.

Kenny’s mega-summer tour has spanned the country and came to an end in front of 121,399 fans in Boston over the two nights. However, the single moment that has the world talking is when Kenny connected with Kelly Swanson.

Kelly is battling and beating cancer and was next to the stage as Kenny sang the Bob Marley song “Three Little Birds.” When Kenny saw Kelly without her hat to hide her loss of hair, he walked over, knelt down and sang the line of the song that says “every little thing is gonna be alright” directly to Kelly while holding her hand.

Kelly’s friends then helped her accept Kenny invitation to join him on stage by boosting her up. She was quickly fumbling to get her hat on her head to cover the hair loss. Kenny not only encourages her to take the hat off with what we can only imagine he means to be pride in her courageous battle, he also removes his cowboy hat to reveal his own bald head. He then sings to her as he presses his head against her to join with her symbolically to spread the love.

Watch the touching moment in the video Kelly posted to her Facebook page below.

Kelly posted a message to her Facebook page just how much that moment meant to her the next day by stating, “Last night was amazing. It was a true testament of the type of person Kenny is……a genuine stand out human being that spreads the love. As if it wasn’t enough for him to catch my eye to let me know “every little thing is gonna be alright …I promise” but to be brought up on stage was so surreal. Thank you Kenny for making my night so special and one I will never forget.”

The moment apparently meant quite a lot to Kenny as well. He posted two pictures to his own Facebook page following the final tour stop in Boston. One of the pictures was an aerial shot of the stadium full of fans and the other was the moment he held his forehead against Kelly’s. The message he posted with the pictures began, “That is why we do this…”

Well done Kenny … Well done.
