The brand new album American Love from Jake Owen has debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country Album sales chart.
The new album sold around 29,000 copies int he first week of release giving it the top spot on the chart that ranks country album sales. The sales total was also enough to give Jake his highest ever notch on the Billboard 200 all-genre chart where American Love debuts at #4.
“That’s a first for me and I’m so pumped about that,” Jake said when he received the news. “I poured my heart and soul into making this album and I’m thrilled to know that people like it. We are forging ahead on this great journey. I love that so many people are on this path with me.”
The debut single from the album “American Country Love Song” continues to climb the country singles charts where it is at #6 on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts for this week.
This is the second number one album for Jake in his career. Barefoot Blue Jean Night also reached the top of the Billboard Country Album sales chart.
