Last night (4/28) on the live results show of “The Voice” it came down to the closest Twitter Save ever on which artist would remain and Lee Brice performed his #1 hit “Drinking Class.”
Lee Brice just scored his latest chart topper with his song “Drinking Class” this week and the country singer-songwriter was on “The Voice” stage joined by Team Blake’s Corey Kent White to perform the song.
Through the one-hour live show the artists saved by America’s vote were revealed until only three artists remained. Those three artists were Blake Shelton‘s artists Corey Kent White and Hannah Kirby along with Christina Aguilera’s artist India Carney. Carson Daly initiated the Twitter Save once the three had performed solo to gain the support of the viewers.
When it was all done Carson announced that it was Team XTina’s India Carney that had earned the Twitter Save in the closest vote ever on the show. Just a little while after that, I saw that the show posted on their Twitter account the vote came down to a difference on just two votes!

The Top 6 will hit perform once again Monday (5/4) at 7 PM central time on NBC to gain support from America and move forward toward winning season eight of the hit TV singing competition.
