Country Music Stars Make Forbes’ Top 100 List

Forbes has released the Forbes’ Top 100 Highest-Paid Celebrities list, and a handful of country music stars made the cut.

The Forbes list calculates earnings from stars of all walks of life over the last 12 months including musicians of all genres, actors, authors, personalities and more.

Garth Brooks is the highest country music star on the list at #15 with a reported $70 million in earnings mostly credited to his comeback world tour.

The next country music star on the list is Kenny Chesney at #26. Kenny’s stadium tours, his Blue Chair Bay rum and other endorsements earned him $56 million.

The #37 spot on the list is claimed by Luke Bryan with Forbes crediting his “Kill the Lights Tour” and endorsement deals with Miller Lite and Cabela’s contributing to a $53 million income.

Toby Keith‘s $47.5 million from touring, his I Love This Bar And Grill restaurant chain and his endorsement deal with Ford lands the “Big Dog Daddy” in the #47 spot on the list.

The final country music star on the list is reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year Jason Aldean at #75 with most of his $36.5 million coming from touring.

The top spot on the list is held by a celebrity with roots in country music. Taylor Swift‘s “1989 World Tour” and endorsement deals with Diet Coke, Keds and Apple helped her secure the #1 spot on the Forbes list with a staggering $170 million dollars!
