The debut single from Jason Aldean‘s forthcoming new album has reached #1, so apparently Jason though it would be a good time to reveal the album cover, title and release date.

“Lights Come On” became Jason’s 17th career number one this week. It is the first single from Jason’s new album which we now know is titled They Don’t Know. We also now know that new album will be released Friday, September 9th. The album cover is pictured above.

“I really wanted to start this new album with one of those big up-tempos,” CountryMusicRocks.net quotes Jason as saying. “So, for it to click right away with fans and radio is a really cool way to start. With all the records we’ve done, we’ve been able to explore new sounds and really just do things our own way, and that’s sort of what the title track is all about.”

There could be just enough time for another single to be released from Jason’s new album and make it TWO #1 songs on the project before the release date.
