Landon Wall performed his response to Kelsea Ballerini‘s song “Peter Pan” at the Bluebird Cafe when Kelsea made a surprise appearance to meet him and sing her song.

12-year-old Landon explained that he and his father were driving when they heard the song “Peter Pan” on the radio. Since there are always two sides to every story, they wrote a response to the song from Peter Pan’s point of view. Landon then posted the song on YouTube which you can see here. That video has had more than 50,000 views, including at least one view by Kelsea.

Kelsea apparently found out that Landon would be performing his song at the Bluebird Cafe and decided to show up for it. After Landon performed his song, Kelsea walked to the stage, hugged Landon and told him, “I only think it’s fair that if you’re gonna sing the response, I get to sing mine too.”

Kelsea borrowed Landon’s guitar to sing her song “Peter Pan” which has reached the top 20 on the Billboard Country Radio airplay chart this week.

“High five” to Kelsea for taking the time to make a memory for Landon he will likely remember his whole life. As far as Landon, you have some real talent for such a young man, keep working on it and who knows, maybe someday you will be in the position to surprise somebody like Kelsea did for you.
