Last night the Final Four on The Voice season 10 performed. Now it is just waiting to see what America has done with their votes. Does iTunes predict who will win?
All four coaches; Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams, are represented in the finals with a single artist each. That will likely make this season’s final night of voting some of the tightest competition ever on The Voice.
Adam Wakefield (Team Blake), Laith Al-Saadi (Team Adam), Alisan Porter (Team Christina) and Hannah Houston (Team Pharrell) all performed three times last night. The sang a duet with their coach, a cover song they picked and an original song they either wrote or co-wrote. Let’s take a look back at those performances.

Do these iTunes sales indicate who will win The Voice season 10? It’s hard to say. First even in the top 10 on iTunes there is no clear-cut leader based on rank. Second the iTunes votes are just one form of voting.
Voting remains open in all forms until 11 AM central time (12 NOON eastern time), so even these iTunes numbers can and likely will change before the end of voting. The songs that are in the top 10 on iTunes at the end of voting will have those specific votes multiplied by 10.
Although the artists in the top 10 on the sales chart may have an edge, as I pointed out earlier, I don’t see a clear-cut front runner in the iTunes rankings. For this final round of voting I would also like to remind you that each of the Final Four artists have all of their iTunes sales from the entire season counted as votes for the winner to be determined. That is why included all of the songs from the Final Four on the list above that were in the top 150 when I checked the iTunes chart.
For anybody who listens to me on B104 or reads my weekly blogs during The Voice seasons you know that I am a Team Blake supporter for what I believe are obvious reasons (I work in country music). Therefore, I am hoping for a fifth win for Blake Shelton as a coach with Adam Wakefield being named the winner of season 10.
With such great artists vying for the title this season and such close voting as a result, we will simply have to wait and see what happens when the results are revealed tonight on the season 10 finale of The Voice starting at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC.
