After the first season of the top Junior hockey program in town,hockey fans seemed to be a little more interested. The franchise was met with a little resistance due to the area being use to the pro level for so long. During the first season fans were impressed with the effort and the thought of seeing their players in top division one programs and even in the NHL.

This season provided excitement as the Bloomington Thunder hockey team made it to the conference finals.It’s only the second season and the team has a good look for next year and with the crowds increasing throughout the season the excitement is building for the franchise. Last night we took it on the chin three to nothing against Dubuqe, but we all are ready for next year. Go Thunder and good luck to the players going to college next year.
