The Top 9 on The Voice season 10 performed last night (5/10) for America’s votes. How did they do overnight on iTunes?

Last night’s performances were very important to the artists on The Voice since they will help determine which of them advance to next week’s Semi-Finals on season 10.

If you listen to me on B104 and/or read my weekly blogs, you know I am a Team Blake supporter. I mean we are both part of the country music family. So, here are the performances from Blake Shelton‘s remaining three artists from last night’s show.

Paxton Ingram put a whole new spin on the Whitney Houston hit song ” I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me).”

Mary Sarah put her traditional meets contemporary country style to the Maren Morris song “My Church.”

Adam Wakefield performed the Eric Kaz/Libby Titus penned song “Love Has No Pride” that was a hit for Linda Ronstadt and performed by many others including Johnny Cash and Bonnie Raitt.

You can watch the performances from the other Top 9 artists on The Voice YouTube channel.

I checked the iTunes all-genre chart at just past 9 AM central time this morning to see where the songs were from last night. Here is what I found…

#9 – Adam Wakefield “Love Has No Pride”
#12 – Laith Al-Saadi “We’ve Got Tonight”
#13 – Mary Sarah “My Church”
#20 – Hannah Huston “Say You Love Me”
#21 – Bryan Bautista “1 + 1”
#27 – Alisan Porter “Cryin'”
#37 – Shalyah Fearing “A Change Is Gonna Come”
#81 – Paxton Ingram “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)”
#117 – Nick Hagelin “Hold On, We’re Going Home”

This is only one form of voting and the only one we can see. All forms of voting close at 11 AM central time. These iTunes numbers can (and likely will) change before that time. We will have to wait for tonight’s live results show on The Voice at 7 PM central time on NBC to see which artists are in the bottom and compete for the Twitter Instant Save to advance to next week’s Season 10 Semi-Finals.
