Miranda Lambert has added to her vintage trailer collection with a 1961 Shasta trailer.
Miranda was already the proud owner of a vintage Airsteam that she is very proud of. She had the Airstream restored and custom remodeled by the Junk Gypsy Co. which you can see in the video below.
How proud of that Airstream is Miranda? Well, she used it on the cover of her Platinum album and she uses it for a backdrop for her meet-n-greet photos at her concerts. What does that tell you?
There is a song on the Platinum album called “Old ‘Stuff‘,” (I substituted the second word of the song title with a word that is more family friendly for this blog). Obviously the theme of that song rings true for Miranda.
Last week she posted the picture at the top of this page to her Instagram account with the message: “Newest member of the family! This is Dixie yall! A 1961 Shasta! #glamping #itsthelittlethings #Texasroadtrip”
The purchase made me wonder two things. First, will Miranda find a way to feature this trailer on the cover of her next album? Second, will she and her husband Blake Shelton soon have a “trailer park” area on their property in Tishamingo, Oklahoma? I guess the trailers could serve as very cool guest quarters when they have friends and family come visit them.
