Kelsea Ballerini was featured on the CBS This Morning show today (3/31).
The early morning TV show caught up with Kelsea in Boston where she was set to visit and sing for young patients at Tuft Medical Center’s Floating Hospital for Children.
In the candid interview, Kelsea talks about her meteoric rise to fame, how turning to songwriting helped her at a young age when her parents decided to divorce, having Taylor Swift reach out to become a friend and what her goals are as a person and an artist.
Kelsea’s amazing young career gained a major milestone last week as she was announced as the winner of the ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year award. She will now be up for the overall New Artist of the Year Award on Sunday night’s (4/3) 51st ACM Awards Show on which she will also perform. Kelsea will be competing against New Male Vocalist winner Chris Stapleton and Old Dominion the winners of the New Vocal Duo or Group award.
