Charlie Daniels and Randy Travis Among 2016 Country Music Hall of Fame Inductees

The Country Music Hall of Fame announced the 2016 inductees and legendary country music stars Charlie Daniels and Randy Travis are part of the honorees.

Charlie Daniels will be inducted in the Veteran’s Era category while Randy Travis will be the 2016 inductee in the Modern Era category.

American songwriter, record producer and founder of Monument Records, Fred Foster will be inducted in the Non-Performer category.

The official induction will take place with a  special Medallion Ceremony at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in the CMA Theater later this year. The ceremony will feature friends and colleges of the honorees paying tribute to them with speeches as well as with songs.

During that ceremony Bronze plaques honoring each inductee will be unveiled that will then be placed in the museum’s Rotunda.

Congratulations to Charlie Daniels, Randy Travis and Fred Foster on being named as the 2016 Country Music Hall of Fame inductees.
