Blake Shelton is tired of all the rumors and stories written about him, and he’s finally doing something about it. Usually he just laughs it off, or makes sarcastic comments on Twitter, but now he’s taking it to the law.
In a $2 Million lawsuit against In Touch Weekly, who he says made false claims about his drinking habits and allegations about his faithfulness while married to Miranda Lambert, Blake says he is furious about how he was depicted to the public.
In the sworn declaration, which was submitted in October, Blake includes a long list of drunken antics he insists he has never done. Like…
- drinking vodka before 11am
- start drinking at 14
- urinating on a mailbox, in public or otherwise
- cheat on Miranda with a bunch of naked women in their Tennessee home
- drunkenly destroy his marriage to Miranda
In Touch Weekly is standing by their claims that he has a drinking problem, and is using his Tweets as evidence.
COME ON! Blake may like to drink, but I’ve never seen him visibly drunk when it mattered. I don’t buy this one bit. If a judge agrees, the lawsuit will move forward, however, that may be hard to prove. Good luck with this one Blake!
