Thanks to the weather that moved through central Illinois last night, I didn’t get to see what happened with Team Blake and Blake Shelton last night on The Voice.

Luckily, I can at least find out and watch the battles on the internet and so can you, right here.

Blake’s team had a battle Monday night (3/14) after the Blind Auditions wrapped up. Last night (3/15) Team Blake also had a single battle.

Blake paired Justin Whisnant and Mary Sarah and gave them the iconic, classic country hit by Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man.” Watch the performance below.

Both artists did a great job singing the song. However, since The Voice has not taken my suggestion of giving each coach a “Draw” that they can use in replace of a “Steal” so that they can keep both artists in a battle, Blake had to make a choice. He said the decision was made simply on a gut feeling and advanced Mary Sarah to the Knock Out Round.

You can click here to see where all the teams stand following last night’s battles.

Blake Shelton and all of the coaches will continue to whittle their teams down as the Battle Round continues Monday night (3/21). Hopefully there won’t be any weather that prevents me from watching the show.
