Darius Rucker has scored another chart topping hit as his latest single “Homegrown Honey” hits #1 on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles chart.

Yesterday (3/30) we told you that the Zac Brown Band’s “Homegrown” reached the number one spot on the Billboard Country Airplay chart for this week. Now we find out that the other “homegrown” song is the top song on the other major country singles chart for radio airplay.

“Homegrown Honey” becomes the seventh #1 single for Darius as a solo country singer. Timing for him couldn’t be better. The song is the debut single from his latest album Southern Style which was released TODAY!

You can find Southern Style, the fifth studio album by Darius Rucker, in music stores and digital outlets everywhere now.

I guess it is appropriate that here at the beginning of spring two songs entitled “Homegrown Honey” and “Homegrown” share a week at number one.

Congratulations to Darius Rucker on his #1 single “Homegrown Honey.”
