Pharrell Williams is apparently trying his hand in the country music genre and The Band Perry is gaining the new perspective from the Grammy Award Winning producer.
Country Weekly reports that in a recent radio interview Kimberly Perry revealed that the family trio is working with Pharrell on new music; “One thing that we worked on with him was this song where all three of us sing different interwoven vocals on the verse and on the chorus.”
You may think that the man that has produced music for Britney Spears, Nelly, Miley Cyrus and many others would not be interested in country music. However, Kimberly pointed out; “He’s like a huge country music fan, and he also really loves what we do with harmony.”
Pharrell is also a coach on “The Voice” along with country music star Blake Shelton. Once the music from The Band Perry is released to the public with his name attached to it, Blake may not be the only coach that can play the “I’m in country music card” with the country artists on the show.
I for one am very interested in hearing the new music from The Band Perry produced by Pharrell Williams.
