Country singer-songwriter Cam has hit the #1 spot on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart this week with her song “Burning House” to help make her Christmas just a bit more merry.

The advanced numbers on the Mediabase chart are out and the California girl has reached the number one spot on the chart for the first time with “Burning House.”

Cam says she will get to spend Christmas in her home state where she can celebrate the holiday and chart topping song with family, “Christmastime we’re gonna be in Southern California, which is where most of my family is, and also my fiancé’s family is from Southern California. So, this is gonna be our first Christmas, combined families. So, we’re gonna have, like, a dinner and — they know each other, but just having more time to spend together, and sometimes when everybody’s meeting each other. You feel like you have to play host a lot more, but everybody gets along, which makes me so happy.”

The song was just certified Platinum by the RIAA for sales of over one million copies last week. Cam received a plaque to commemorate the milestone on the Today show which you can see here.

“Burning House” is from Cam’s debut album Untamed that is available everywhere and would make a great last minute present for any country music fan on your list.

Congratulations to Cam on her number one single “Burning House.”
