The Top 9 on season nine of “The Voice” performed last night (12/7) with hopes of advancing to next week’s finals. Where did the semi-finalists land on iTunes?

One of the forms of voting for the hit singing competition is the sales on iTunes. While the single sales on iTunes sometimes indicate the results for the artists, it has often been off some because of the other forms of voting. But, once again we will look at the sales from last night’s performances to see if we can get some insight to what the results will be.

During the two-hour live show last night each of the nine remaining artists performed hoping to get enough votes to be one of the four artists to advance to the finals next week on “The Voice.” Coach and country music star Blake Shelton also performed his latest single “Gonna” during the show. You can watch his performance below.

Now let’s look at where “The Voice” hopefuls were on iTunes when I checked just after 9am this morning (12/8). The videos of the performances are below the name of each artist, team name and their iTunes chart position number.

Jordan Smith – Team Adam – #1

Jeffery Austin – Team Gwen – #3

Emily Ann Roberts – Team Blake – #4

Amy Vachal – Team Adam – #5

Madi Davis – Team Pharrell – #6

Braiden Sunshine – Team Gwen – #7

Zach Seabaugh – Team Blake – #8

Barret Baber – Team Blake – #10

You can see that eight of the artists are in the Top 10. Those artists in the Top 10 on iTunes at the close of voting at 11am central time (12noon eastern) will have their iTunes votes multiplied by 10.

Tonight on the live results show five artists will have their time on season nine come to an end while four will advance to the Finals on “The Voice.”

Country music icon Dolly Parton is also scheduled to perform tonight on the show.

Season three Team Blake winner of “The Voice” Cassadee Pope will also return to “The Voice” tonight to perform.

Do the iTunes sales indicate which artists will advance to the finals on season nine of “The Voice” and which coaches will be represented? We will all have to tune in tonight at 7pm to find out.
