Last night on “The Voice” the Top 10 of season nine performed and are hoping to advance to the semi-finals next week. Do the iTunes sales indicate which artists will advance?
Since the teams were cut down to three artists each Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Gwen Stefani have been able to keep all of their artists in the running each week. Pharrell Williams has seen two of his three artists eliminated over the past two weeks. The question is will Team Pharrell be eliminated entirely this week.
The iTunes sales is only one method of voting and has been partially accurate in predicting which artists would be at the bottom the past two weeks. So remember, this is just a fun way of speculating what might happen tonight on the live results show on “The Voice,” but it could also be completely off from the actual results.
With that in mind this is where the artists were ranked on iTunes at the close of voting (11am central time) when I checked with their performances from last night below each name.
#2 – Jordan Smith – Team Adam
#3 – Barrett Baber – Team Blake
#4 – Madi Davis – Team Pharrell
#5 – Emily Ann Roberts – Team Blake
#7 – Jeffery Austin – Team Gwen
#8 – Amy Vachal – Team Adam
#10 – Shelby Brown – Team Adam
#20 – Zach Seabaugh – Team Blake
#27 – Korin Bukowski – Team Gwen
#113 – Braiden Sunshine -Team Gwen
It is pretty amazing that seven of the top ten on iTunes are “The Voice” contestants! Remember that any artist in the top ten on iTunes at the close of voting has those votes multiplied by 10.
Team Gwen has the lowest two in the iTunes sales with Korin Bukowski again down at the second lowest and Braiden Sunshine trailing by a large margin in sales. However, again I remind you that there are other forms of voting to shuffle these numbers around.
The only way to know for sure which artists are at the bottom of voting and which will go home is to watch the live results show tonight for “The Voice” on NBC starting at 7pm central time.
