Miranda Lambert finally opened up about her divorce from Blake Shelton. What she had to say might shock you.

It might shock you if you are one who believes any of the tabloid stories that have been packed full of fabrications just to sell copies. While Blake has said in interviews after the divorce that he and Miranda are still friends, she never really said anything to make us believe she felt the same way … until now.

CountryMusicNation.com quotes an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine with Miranda saying, “Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try.”

How does Miranda feel about Blake now? She told the magazine, “I had a great relationship with an amazing man so I know what good is. I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted.”

Apparently the interview does not reveal how Miranda feels about Blake’s new relationship with Gwen Stefani. However, it does reveal where Miranda is right now in her life. She is not ready to start dating yet. The word “marriage” isn’t even a thought at this time. Right now Miranda is moving on and wanting to live a full life which in the near future, “might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going, ‘Man, this sucks right now.'”
