Chris Young‘s new album I’m Comin’ Over made it’s debut on the Billboard Country Album sales chart at #1 for this week.

Chris’ fifth studio album sold nearly 60,000 in the first week of release to give him the top spot on the Billboard Country Albums sales chart and a debut at #5 on the Billboard 200 all-genre chart.

Chris is proud to have released five albums, “It feels really good to say that I’ve released five records. That was really cool for me,” he says.

What is cooler to him is that all of his albums have been with the same record label.

Chris says, “You know, there’s a lot of people that might not even get to four records much less five, much less them all bein’ with the same group of people, the same building, the same organization, the same name on the back of the CD. You know, the same (laughs)…if you’re lookin’ at it on your phone, the very same RCA Records. Just having that on there is special to me, and on top of that, of all of what I’ve just said, I turned it in on my 30th birthday. I signed my record deal before I turned 21, and the day I turned 30, I turned in my fifth record, I’m Comin’ Over, to my record label.”

The title track and debut single “I’m Comin’ Over” is also spending its second week at #1 on the Billboard Country Radio Airplay chart this week for Chris.

Congratulations to Chris Young on his #1 album I’m Comin’ Over!
