Blake Shelton continues his streak of #1 hit singles this week as he takes Ashley Monroe (pictured on the right) with him to the top of the charts with “Lonely Tonight.”

The advance Billboard Country Radio Airplay chart is out for this week and Blake’s collaboration with Ashley has pushed Thomas Rhett’s “Make Me Wanna” out of the top spot on the chart for this week.

The song has also made it to number one on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles chart according to the advance of that chart.

This makes 14 consecutive chart toppers for Blake Shelton. It is his 19th number one of his career.

“Lonely Tonight” is the second single from his current album Bringing Back The Sunshine and obviously the second #1 single from the album. The album is Blake’s 8th studio album. The past four studio albums have produced nothing but #1 singles. Well, that is counting Bringing Back The Sunshine and there will be more singles from the project that we will have to wait and see where they end on the charts.

This is Ashley’s second time at #1 on the country singles charts. Her first was also with Blake when the girl group Pistol Annies (which Ashley is in with Miranda Lambert and Angaleena Presley) sang on the chart topping hit “Boys ‘Round Here.”

Tonight (3/2) Blake returns to TV with the second week of blind auditions on season eight of “The Voice.” Blake and his fellow coaches on the show will continue to build their teams starting at 7pm central time on NBC.

April 19th Blake will again join co-host Luke Bryan for the 50th ACM Awards Show when it airs live from AT&T Stadium in Texas on CBS. Blake is nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year at the ACM Awards. He is also nominated with Ashley Monroe for Vocal Event of the Year for “Lonely Tonight.”

Congratulations to Blake Shelton and Ashley Monroe for their #1 song “Lonely Tonight.”
