Night two of “The Voice” season eight had the coaches fighting for artists and Blake Shelton enlisted the audience to help him get a new member for Team Blake.
Blake, Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams were all working hard to add to their team for the NBC singing competition as the blind auditions continued last night (2/24).
Adam was able to score some members for his team after being shut out on night one. By the end of the night he had three artists on Team Adam.
Christina was able to double the size of Team Xtina by ending the night with four members on her team.
Pharrell ended the night with the largest team by adding two more artists and bringing Team Pharrell to a total of five.
Blake took the opportunity when Adam left the set for a bathroom break to enlist the audience to help him if a choice came down to Adam and himself. He asked the audience to chant “Blake, Blake, Blake…” if that scenario emerged.
The situation did arrive when Brooke Adee auditioned as Blake and Adam were the only two to turn their chairs. Brooke had the quote of the night as Adam and Blake argued with each other over whose team she should join. She told the superstars: “You guys remind me of Tom and Jerry.”
I don’t know if the audience helped sway her or not, but Brooke chose to join Team Blake bringing Blake’s total of artists to four. That is where Team Blake ended the night for a total.

The blind auditions continue this Monday, March 2nd at 7pm central time on NBC.
