Help Buck Reach His 2015 Polar Plunge Goal [VIDEOS]

The 2015 Bloomington Polar Plunge for Special Olympics is THIS Saturday and I am not even half way to my goal. Please make a donation to help out today.

I have committed to standing in the freezing water and counting “100-1, 100-2, etc.” for every hundred dollars donated to my Polar Plunge. The picture above was taken last week at Miller Park Lake when the safety divers cut a test-hole in the ice where we will be taking the plunge. As you can see, it will be VERY cold!

I have a goal of raising $1000 for Special Olympics of Illinois through my plunge. This is an amazing cause because the money will help athletes around our hometown area through the year as they participate in the games and activities of Special Olympics.

I am currently at $440 raised…not even half-way to my goal. I want to thank those who have already donated including Bloomington Meats for their generous donation. I am going to be wearing a Bloomington Meats t-shirt again this year during my plunge because of their donation.

I am not asking any individual to go overboard in their donation. If you could donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can it would add up quicker than you realize. If you can afford to make a bigger donation obviously, that is gratefully accepted as well. Again, I only have a few days to reach my goal. I can do that with your help.

You can make a donation to my Polar Plunge for Special Olympics of Illinois by CLICKING HERE.

If you are a business owner and would like to have me wear a pair of boxer shorts or a hat with your business name on it for the plunge which will be seen and mentioned in the video of my plunge, you can contact me at the radio station in the next couple of days. Call the business line 829-1221 between 9am and 5pm and ask for me.

Below are the videos from my past two Polar Plunges for Special Olympics.

Again, I would truly appreciate a donation HERE for my Polar Plunge, which is for a great cause!

Thank You and God Bless.
