The latest collaboration performance for the 49th CMA Awards Show has been announced by the Country Music Association and it is Reba with Brooks & Dunn.
These two acts have toured together in the past and have been doing a residency in Las Vegas in recent months called “REBA, BROOKS & DUNN: Together in Vegas” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. They will return to the venue in December for more shows in Vegas.
The three superstar performers came together on the 2008 CMA Awards Show to perform the Brooks & Dunn hit single that featured Reba “Cowgirls Don’t Cry.”
Next week they will again take the CMA Awards Show stage together to perform for the audience and television viewers during the live broadcast.
Reba and Brooks & Dunn join the previously announced collaborative performances that include Eric Church and Hank Williams, Jr., Thomas Rhett and rock band Fall Out Boy, Keith Urban performing with John Mellencamp and Dierks Bentley with electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling.
These one-of-a-kind collaboration will take place among the other performances from country music stars Florida Georgia Line, Little Big Town, Zac Brown Band, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Blake Shelton, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, Maddie & Tae, Kacey Musgraves, as well as the night’s co-hosts, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.
The 49th Annual CMA Awards will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 4th at 7:00 PM central time on ABC TV.
