Eric Church took his 2015 “The Outsiders World Tour” to Nashville Saturday night (1/10) and shattered the attendance record for Bridgestone Arena.

Eric began the night by telling the audience “Nashville, I have high expectations for you. I live here!” Obviously the Music City already had high expectations for the modern day country outlaw as well. Joining Eric for the concert were 18,411 fans. That easily eclipsed the previous record for the venue for highest attended event set by the “Blue Collar Comedy Tour" set on February 16, 2006.

Eric seems to be kicking off 2015 where he left off for 2014. Last year he ended the year as the top-selling and highest-selling album debut of 2014 with his RIAA Platinum certified The Outsiders.

Eric received four Grammy nominations for the upcoming awards including Best Country Song for his third #1, “Give Me Back My Hometown,” and Best Country Album for The Outsiders. That brings his Grammy nominations to a total of seven for his career.

Where will 2015 lead for Eric Church? No one can know for sure, but with a huge start to his 2015 “The Outsiders World Tour” and a chance at winning some Grammy Awards February 8th, the year could start of very strong for Eric.

Eric announced more cities and dates for the 2014 "The Outsiders World Tour" this morning (1/12). The list includes a stop at US Cellular Coliseum right here in Bloomington! Concert and ticket details are being finalized and B104 will have them for you very soon!
