Last night’s episode of The Voice, Team Pharrell nabbed his first-ever country artist. The best performance of the night came from Team Blake’s young country stars Emily Ann Roberts and Morgan Frazier, who performed a powerful cover of Patty Loveless’ “I’m That Kind of Girl.” While Blake compared Morgan’s range to Carrie Underwood’s, he ultimately decided to keep 16-year-old Emily Ann–allowing Pharrell to use his final steal on Morgan.

The night also featured an impressive cover of Stevie Nicks’ “Edge of Seventeen” by Team Adam’s 17-year-old stars Amanda Ayala and Shelby Brown. Although both girls showed off their powerful chops, Adam decided to keep Shelby. It’s been a great start to ‘The Voice’ this year and the finals should be one of their biggest and best.
