The website RoadSnacks.net has released its list of Worst Places to Live in America and Rockford, Illinois made the Top 10.

The website bases the grades and ranks for the cities on data including unemployment rates, income versus cost of living, education spending, and crime rates.

Our friends just north on Interstate 39 earned a grade of “D” and the sixth place on the list. Here is the Top 10 Worst Places to Live in America according to RaodSnacks.net:

#1 – Macon, Georgia.

#2 – Jackson, Mississippi.

#3 – Detroit, Michigan.

#4 – Knoxville, Tennessee.

#5 – Chattanooga, Tennessee.

#6 – Rockford, Illinois.

#7 – Savannah, Georgia.

#8 – Memphis, Tennessee.

#9 – Mobile, Alabama.

#10 – Springfield, Missouri.

On the other side of the coin is the Top 5 Best Places to Live according to the website:

#1 – Alexandria, VA
#2 – Plano, TX
#3 – Frisco, TX
#4 – Naperville, IL
#5 – Bellevue, WA
