Recently, actors Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser discussed the final episodes of Yellowstone and the status of “John Dutton” in them.

In an interview with ExtraTV, Kelly (who plays Beth Dutton) and Cole (who plays Rip Wheeler) were asked about the relationship between their characters, their experience over the years on the series and more. Of course, there was a lot that they could not reveal so they would not spoil the final episodes.

When they were asked about doing the final episodes without Kevin Costner playing his role as family Patriarch “John Dutton,” Kelly said, “He is just the most present character in the show still. Everything revolves around the storyline of him, and now it’s about the characters around him and how they function in this new situation that they find themselves in.”

Cole continued, “The maturing of the characters, you know. The growth of them and responsibility… there’s a tremendous amount of responsibility on the two of them and including the brothers as well.”

Kelly added, “It’s the same writer that’s writing all the words that you loved, so I’m hoping that it will be received in the way that we have endeavored to bring it to them.”

The final half-season of Yellowstone premiere’s this Sunday, November 10th at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. CST/8 p.m. PST on Paramount Network.
