Jelly Roll posted a video on social media sharing the latest milestone he reached in his life with his fans. The country music superstar got emotional as he thanked fans for helping him reach it.
Jelly had a rare day off between tour stops last Thursday (10/24). He took the opportunity to head home and share with his fans something special. He shared how he grew up visiting his uncle’s farm and loving going there. He told fans that he once asked his dad why then never got a farm?
His dad responded, “Son, that’s probably one of the mistakes I regret the most, is that I didn’t buy dirt . . . they’re never gonna make no more of it. And if you don’t listen to no advice from me, buy dirt. Go get you some land.”
Jelly did follow his father’s advice. “My wife and I purchased over 500 acres. And we closed on it while I was gone,” he shared with fans and pointing out that was where he was filming the video.
He added, “Thank you all for just changing my life, man. Generational curses were broke because of y’all.”
