On Saturday (August 17), Jelly Roll played an intimate show at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York. Jelly played a series of songs from his back catalog, as well as choice covers of classic hits for the star-studded event filled with VIP guests. The music star was introduced by the co-hosts of the SmartLess podcast, Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes, who also did a live taping of an upcoming episode with Howard Stern at the venue before the concert. Stern and his wife Beth were just some of the stars in the audience, along with Bradley Cooper, Jimmy Fallon and his wife Nancy, Jon Hamm and his wife Anna Osceola, John McEnroe, Kelly Bensimon, and Rosanna Scotto. “I can’t believe my fat white ass is in the Hamptons!” Jelly joked during his set, before getting serious later about the power of music. “I make real music for real people with real problems… I believe music can heal people.” (People)
