Chris Janson has dropped a new single called “Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get.” It is the follow-up to his top five single “All I Need Is You.” Chris shares his feelings about the previously unreleased song.
“‘What You See Is What You Get’ is like my favorite song ever, I Have to tell you. I’m really proud of all my singles … I’m proud of my catalog of songs … but, this one really is finally so depictive of exactly who I am on a daily basis. On and off stage, and more so even off stage. I mean, my friends pick on me a lot because I’m pretty much head to toe and camo all the time. And this is my wheelhouse, sitting in the trees, waiting on a deer, chilling on a riverbank killing cold beer and fishing. And most every truck I ever had was a little bit jacked up at least.”
“Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get” is not on the latest album The Outlaw Side of Me from Chris. That album was released less than a year ago, June 16, 2023. The only single from it to date is “All I Need Is You.” That makes me wonder if there will be a “Deluxe” version of the album coming out that will include “Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get.”
