It seems like the food companies can’t come up with many new products. So, often they simply create mashups for a new product. Let’s be honest though, it is only partly to satisfy customers. It is mainly to get more of our money to get us to try something we otherwise might not buy.

Here are three new products that will be hitting shelves soon. Which of these do you think you will try?

Ranch-Cheez-It Flavored Dressing: National Ranch Day is coming March 10th and Hidden Valley just announced the new version of theirs that will be in Walmart and Kroger stores this month. They say it is a mashup that fans came up with.

Oscar Mayer Meatless Hot Dogs: This is not a mashup, but it is also not really a new product. Oscar Mayer is making their hot dogs with plant-based meat and calling them “Not Hot Dogs.” They are also making “Not Sausages.”

Grilled Cheese Flavored Tomato Soup: I mean who hasn’t already eaten grilled cheese sandwiches with soup before? Campbell’s is simply putting the two flavors together in the can for you in a limited-edition run. Check the soup aisle, it may already be there.
