Bar in the U.K. Renamed to “The Gym” to Help Patrons Keep New Year’s Resolutions

This is truly some brilliant marketing. However, it could cause some issues when you get home each day.

If you live in the right area of the U.K. and made a New Year’s Resolution to “go to the gym every day,” it just got easier to say you are doing just that.

The owners of a bar called The Maltsters Arms in Swansea (the second-largest city in Wales) just changed its name to The Gym. Patrons can now tell their family and friends, “Yes, I’ve gone to The Gym every day this week.”

They have special glasses that look like dumbbells. And, you must be wearing gym gear to gain entry.

The only thing that could be an issue is explaining to family and friends why you are always tipsy after your daily “three-hour work-out sessions” …
