Health experts say spending too much time sitting can be bad for your health – but a little bit of exercise can get you back on the right track.

A new study of people over 50 found that 22 minutes of exercise a day can lower the health risks that come with a sedentary lifestyle.

And more exercise means more benefits – adding another 10 minutes to your daily routine can lower the risks by another 15 percent.
