Let’s be honest, for the most part Crocs are not the most appealing looking footwear. I guess they figured why not make them even uglier.

These new Crocs and meant to resemble the character “Shrek” from the animated movies. They have apparently become the hottest shoes on the planet and nobody even owns a pair yet.

They have a brown fur strap in the back (to look like Shrek’s vest). They also come with a piece to look like his nose and two pieces that look like his ears. These are meant to put on the top of the shoes.

The forthcoming new shows went viral when they were announced with photos Wednesday (9/6). Google reports they have been a top-trending search this week.

The Shrek Crocs will be available starting Wednesday (9/13) at 12 p.m. at crocs.com and select wholesale partners worldwide.

The original Shrek movie came out more than two decades ago in 2001. There is reportedly a fifth instalment for the franchise in the works.
