Zoe Saldaña reacted humorously to the release date of the final Avatar movie. Avatar: The Way of Water took over a decade to release, and James Cameron plans to make three more movies. The franchise is high-budget, so movies won’t come out quickly.

Zoe posted on Instagram that Avatar 5 will release in 2031. While the special effects are a big deal in the Avatar world, it’s understandable why it would take a decade to create; however, Zoe’s age is a factor.

“Great, I’ll be 53 when the last Avatar movie comes out,” Zoe posted on her Instagram Stories.

Currently, the third installment of Avatar is sitting at nine hours, and Cameron wants all FXs to be completed before cutting the film down. In the third movie, viewers will be introduced to the “Ash People,” who are the bad side of the Na’vi people.

What did you think of Avatar 2: The Way of Water? Was it better than the first film?
