Tuesday (3/7) was night two of the Blind Auditions on season 23 of The Voice. Did any of the artists motivate Blake Shelton to press his button?
28-year-old Carlos Rising from Wilmington, NC performed Eric Clapton’s “Change the World” on the one-hour episode. His sound and artistry motivated Blake to press his button. Kelly Clarkson also pressed her button at the very last second. The two veteran coaches then battled to get Carlos to join their respective teams.
Carlos decided to go with Blake Shelton and Team Blake.
The coaches got to hear a surprise celebrity audition. Kelly Clarkson pressed her button. Niall Horan said he knew who it was, but he pressed his button anyway. Chance the Rapper also pressed his button. Blake figured out who it was and refused to press his button.
The first week of Blind Auditions on The Voice Season 23 ended with Team Blake in the lead having four artists. Team Kelly, Team Chance and Team Niall all ended the week with three artists each.
The Blind Auditions continue Monday, March 13th on The Voice as the coaches work on getting their teams to a total of 10 artists each to be full.
