Valentine’s Day is approaching. Do you have plans to spend some time alone with your sweetheart? Justin Moore knows that one-on-one time is very important for a relationship. That could be even more important for a married couple with kids.
“As a guy who’s been married for 15 years with four kids, it’s hard to make time for each other, but it’s imperative that you do so. My dad or mom one, maybe it was both of ‘em, told me a long time ago that you’re not being the best parent you can be if you don’t have the best marriage that you can have. And that means making time for each other, even if it’s separate from the kids, even though you feel like you’re being a terrible parent.”
Spending some time alone with your partner away from your kids is not being selfish according to Justin. It is keeping a key part of the family unit healthy.
