It would appear that people are losing the ability to do some skills as technology advances.

Don’t get me wrong. The advancement of technology has improved life is many very important and impactful ways. However, that same technology is causing us to lose some abilities since it does it all for us.

The British website swnsdigital.com has listed the top 50 “lost skills and hobbies” due to technology and modern conveniences. The top 10 are: writing letters, map reading, knowing proper grammar, mental math, remembering phone numbers, using a compass, handwriting, hand washing clothes, making a fire from scratch and stamp collecting.
