Things got a little tense on the set of American Idol Monday night when Luke Bryan’s wife Caroline showed up to cause some problems!

It got a little heated on the set between Luke, Katy and a “production assistant” who had been annoying them all day with her noisy antics – banging on the grand piano, leaving her phone on during auditions, setting off alarms, opening a bag of chips, and interrupting auditions.

Katy was in on the joke and things got very tense and heated at one point when it looked like Katy and the “production assistant” (Caroline) were about to get in a fight and Luke called for security!

If you’re a fan of Luke and Caroline, you know that they are the ultimate pranksters and even celebrate what they call the “12 Days of Pranksmas” every year, and no one is safe, not even Luke’s mom LeClaire.

Looks like Caroline is the reigning champ now!
