Tim McGraw says that riding horses in the series 1883 has not really been a problem for him since he grew up riding them.

However, it sounds like James Dutton (the character Tim plays) did some things that Tim McGraw the boy never did on horses.

“I grew in Lousiana riding horses my whole life, gotten away from it for a while, but it was fun to get back into it, and get back on a horse. And we’ve done some pretty crazy things on horses, it’s been (laughs) it’s been quite an adventure for sure.”

Tim stars alongside Faith Hill (his wife in real life and in the series), Isabel May , Sam Elliott and Billy Bob Thorton in the Yellowstone prequel, streaming beginning this Sunday, December 19th on Paramount plus.
